The Visionary Leadership Certificate develops students' strategic vision, communication, and interpersonal skills that position them to be effective and successful future leaders. This certificate is also a gateway into other noncredit and credit programs, helping students develop workplace skills and training that will qualify them for even more work opportunities. There are no prerequisite requirements for this program, and courses are open to all students.

1. Describe and understand the workstyle characteristics of the 5 different generations in the current workforce
2. Identify how the workplace will change as a result of cultural shifts, client needs, new technology, and retirement of baby boomers, and apply skills to ensure future success
3. Practice the communication skills associated with high performing employees and teams including those related to giving and receiving feedback
4. Formulate a plan to complete the necessary training and professional development needed to be eligible for promotion to new positions
