The Nonprofit Finance Certificate enables students to develop the financial skills necessary for nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes. Participants will learn the basics of accounting for a small business and have the opportunity to discuss and apply these accounting fundamentals. There are no prerequisite requirements for this program, and courses are open to all students.  

1. Compare and contrast nonprofit and for-profit organizations
2. Demonstrate small business accounting skills, such as preparing and reconciling financial statements
3. Describe basics of documenting and analyzing small business transactions
