ESL Vocational, Child Care, Certificate of Completion
The Vocational ESL Child Care certificate prepares low level ESL students for a career in childcare. Special emphasis is placed on developing vocabulary pertinent to the child care field and to acquiring an entry level familiarity with common phrases for interacting with English speaking customers. There are no prerequisite requirements for this program, and courses are open to all students.

- Incorporate vocabulary, speaking, and writing skills needed to communicate with a child’s parents or guardians regularly about the child’s health or physical needs.
- Incorporate understanding of child development to plan and describe a daily schedule in a childcare environment that addresses play, nutrition, and routines.
